Welsh Baker's "Box O' Duds Scone Version" is a special offering of imperfect looking but perfect tasting Welsh Scones. After every production we always have some of these in just about every flavor but obviously we have more of the popular flavors as we make more of them. In the old days we use duds as samples at festivals but nowadays we don't need to sample that much. We offer these at a substantial discount. The Box O' Dud Scones will contain a variety of Scones of at least 5 different flavors, maybe more. The scones are simply packed with a flavor sticker only. The Box holds 22 scones in all. Scones are roughly 2.5x he size of a Welsh Cake and theya re baked so crumblier and denser than the Welsh Cakes but made from the same dough. As for the quality of the product, aside from appearance, they are all from the same dough, the same batches as all our regular product- in some cases they are not even imperfect, just extra ones we had on hand. They are just as fresh and come with the same shelf life as our 1st quality goods - 3 weeks. They can be frozen exactly the same. Order a box of Duds and you'll be feeling perfectly lucky!
